RACE-6 THE OMSK (Div.1) RATING 55-30 (CLASS 4) 1050 METRES (289)

1 Impeccable Genius (Y M Choi) –Proved difficult to load. Trainer K S Ho was informed that a warning was being placed against the gelding and should it perform in a similar manner in future further action may be taken.
2 Cool Brother (W L Ho) –Was obliged to race four wide without cover throughout.
4 Great Party (W H Lao) –Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground. Hung out rounding the home turn. Jockey W H Lao was severely reprimanded for failing to ride his mount fully to the line. The Stewards took into consideration that this was the first time he had been spoken to in respect to this offence and that his actions did not affect the result of the race.
6 Chok King (A Calder) –Proved difficult to load. Trainer K H Leong was informed that a warning was being placed against the gelding and should it perform in a similar manner in future further action may be taken.
7 Diamond Rocket (L Corrales) –Was well supported in the market tonight and ran 3rd last. Jockey L Corrales could not offer any reasons for the performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Great River (K W Leong) –Was restless in the barriers, subsequently was marginally slow to begin, then got its head up and raced ungenerously for a number of strides.
