Race Report

RACE-5 THE PUSAN (TURF) RATING 60-30 (CLASS 3&4) 1800 METRES (366)

Following the running of Race 4, the track condition was upgraded to Good.

1 Danpaoshaq (L Corrales) – Performed below market expectations. Rider reported his mount was one paced throughout. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. A swab sample was taken for analysis.
2 River Colour (K W Leong) – After obtaining a position behind the leader, commenced to over race badly when the pace steadied at the winning post on the first occasion and when being restrained off heels shifted out near the 1200 metres and was further restrained when continuing to over race badly. Rider reported his mount over raced and hung out in the early stages and as a result settled further back than anticipated. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Haayil Shadow (K H Yu) –Over raced in the early and middle stages. Was held up for a considerable distance from rounding the home turn until after passing the 300 metres. Then had difficulty obtaining a clear run from after passing the 250 and until near the 150 metres.
5 Riches Treasure (R Curatolo) –Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
7 Windsor Arch Three (H Lam) –Jumped away awkwardly and made heavy contact with the inside gate, resulting in its rider losing the use of his right iron for a short distance.
