RACE-3 THE MACAU RACE HORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION CHARITY TROPHY RATING 70+ (CLASS 1&2) 1510 METRES (210)

1 Obrigado Mais (W Smith) -At the 700 metres rolled in and crowded 2 Wichita Linesman which blundered. Jockey W Smith was reprimanded and was told to make a great effort to straighten his mount in future.
2 Wichita Linesman (H Lam) -At the 700 metres was crowded and blundered when 1 Obrigado Mais rolled in.
3 Advance Mission (F Henrique) -Stood and lost considerable ground. Trainer K S Ho was informed that he would be required to present 3 Advance Mission to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 14th May 2018 and that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days until it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
4 Gem Eagle (Apprentice K Leung) -Was slow into stride. Shortly after was bumped by 7 Ashkari which jumped awkwardly outwards.
7 Ashkari (L Corrales) -Jumped awkwardly outwards and bumped 4 Gem Eagle shortly after the start.
8 Happy Roaring (K K Lai) -Poor performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K M Chin was informed that he would be required to present 8 Happy Roaring which was beaten in excess of 26 lengths to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 14th May 2018 and that the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days until it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
