Race Report

RACE-3 THE MANAUS RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1510 METRES (250)
The running distance has been amended from 1500M/Turf to 1510M/Sand.

1 Qian Gua (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Jumped away awkwardly making contact with its inside barrier partition and as a result lost ground. Leaving the 900 metres was shifted wider on the track and was allowed to stride forward to obtain the position outside of the leader near the 600 metres. Leaving the 500 metres was inclined to lay in and leaving the 400 metres brushed with 2 Gorgeous Bomb which at the same time was inclined to lay out. In the home straight continued to lay in under pressure proving difficult to ride out.
4 Trillion King (W L Ho) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
7 Rose Hero (K H Yu) -Leaving the 1400 metres was inclined to lay out for some distance.
