4 Bring Me Speed (F Henrique) -Was slow to begin.
5 Eclair Sunshine (S Ladjadj) -Was slow to begin. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
7 Luen On Poseidon (M Tanaka) -Near the 1200 metres was momentarily tightened for room to the inside of 1 Pearl Green which shifted in slightly before being corrected by its rider. A post race swab sample was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
8 Qian Gua (S Nakano) -Leaving the 800 metres had a tendency to lay in.
9 Krystrump (T Appie) -Near the 450 metres was brushed and taken wider by 2 Kelowna Star which in turn was taken out by 4 Bring Me Speed which shifted out when not fully clear. Jockey F Henrique the rider of 4 Bring Me Speed was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in future.
