Race Report

RACE-5 JAPAN RACING ASSOCIATION TROPHY RATING 80+ (CLASS 1) 1500 METRES (101)

1 Master Of Puppets (C F Chan) –Disappointing performance. Rider of 1 Master Of Puppets reported that his mount did not respond to his riding throughout the race. He added that he carrying top weight today in the softer going may had contributed to the poor performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
2 Pak Lok Angel (J Cordero) –Rounding the turn near the 1200 metres had to be steadied when close to the heels of 6 Sandtop (W L Ho). Raced four wide from the 700 metres without cover.
5 Bobo So Cute (L Salles) –Lost its right hind plate. Approaching and passing the 400 metres was held up when unable to improve its position.
9 Golden Double (R Curatolo) –Raced wide without cover before obtaining a position with cover near the 800 metres.
10 Just In Time (M Cangas) –Approaching the 1400 metres had to be steadied when tightened for room between 11 King Creole (C Perkins) shifted in and 2 Pak Lok Angel (J Cordero).
11 King Creole (C Perkins) –Poor performance. The rider could not offer real excuses for the horse poor performance today. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
