Race Report

RACE-1 THE KYOTO RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1200 METRES (318)

1 Star Of Yiu Sun (L Corrales) -Bumped with 8 House Of Power on jumping away.
2 Win Win Partners (F Henrique) -Was slow to begin. Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. Near the 750 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 9 Right Right Right. Was held up rounding the home turn. Near the 200 metres brushed with 6 Darling Ten.
3 Superb Shooter (D Barros)-Jumped away awkwardly. Raced wide without cover throughout. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 River Applause (C L Cheung) -For some distance approaching and passing the 900 metres raced fiercely.
5 Yiu Cheung Prince (S Nakano) -Cast right front plate during the run.
6 Darling Ten (B Yamzon)-Near the 200 metres was brushed by 2 Win Win Partners which shifted out and away from 9 Right Right Right which in turn shifted out under pressure.
8 House Of Power (M Tanaka) -Bumped with 1 Star Of Yiu Sun on jumping away.
9 Right Right Right (K H Yu)-For some distance approaching and passing the 800 metres raced fiercely. Near the 750 metres when continuing to race fiercely, shifted out and had to be checked away from the heels of 1 Star Of Yiu Sun which at the same time shifted in slightly after being brushed by 6 Darling Ten, which in turn was taken in slightly by 3 Superb Shooter which shifted in slightly when laying in despite the efforts of its rider. After considering all of the circumstances and in particular the racing manners of 9 Right Right Right leading up and at the point of the incident, the Stewards could not portion blame to anyone rider and took no further action other than to advise all riders to exercise more care in similar circumstances. For some distance thereafter continued to race ungenerously.
