Race Report

RACE-3 THE AUXERRE RATING 70+ (CLASS 1) 1500 METRES (135)

1 Healthy Life (W L Ho) – Jockey W L Ho the rider of 1 Healthy Life which performed below market expectations, explained that the performance could be attributed to the gelding carrying the top weight of 133 lbs.
2 Pak Lok Angel (W H Lao) – Leaving the straight on the first occasion had to be steadied when placed in restricted room to the inside of 5 Best Of Luck. Rounding the turn near the 1100 metres had to be steadied when racing keenly. Passing the 900 metres shifted wider on the track and raced wide without cover from that point.
4 River Bobo (L Corrales) – Over raced in the early and middle stages. At the entrance into the straight had to be steadied when disappointed for a run, where there was insufficient room between 8 Happy Prodigal Son and 2 Pak Lok Angel.
6 Sheng Li Win (C Perkins) –Leaving the straight had to be steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of 2 Pak Lok Angel
7 Gold Alloy (C F Wong) – Near the 600 metres had to be steadied when tightened by 6 Sheng Li Win which was taken in by 4 River Bobo which shifted in.
