RACE-4 THE LENS RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1350 METRES (136)

Prior to correct weight, connections of 3rd place getter 10 Turquoise Heart (A Calder) viewed the patrol video before deciding not to lodge to an objection against 2nd placegetter 8 Holy Ascension. Stewards were also satisfied that there were insufficient grounds for an objection. Correct weight was declared.

3 Sharon Star (W H Lao) –Raced keenly in the back straight. Rider explained that the gelding, which performed below market expectations, explained that his mount over raced through the middle stages and failed to respond to his riding from the 800 metres.
6 Grand Double Win (L Salles) –Was marginally slow to begin.
9 My Favourites (C F Chan) –Shifted out on jumping away and brushed 10 Turquoise Heart. Over raced through the early and middle stages.
10 Turquoise Heart (A Calder) –Passing the 100 metres had to be steadied off the heels of 8 Holy Ascension.
14 Vancouver Jaguar (D Chong) –Over raced in the middle stages. Approaching the 200 metres had to be steadied momentially to avoid the heels of 5 Cali Fortune.
