Race Report

RACE-3 THE LOS ANGELES RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1050 METRES (147)

1 Hopefully Tomorrow (W T Pao) –Was slow to muster speed.
2 Sweet Korean (W L Ho) –Was resaddled behind the barrier. Raced wide without cover.
3 Everything Good (L Corrales) –Rider was dislodged from his mount on the way to the barrier, was examined by the Medical Officer and declared fit to ride. Disappointing performance. L Corrales stated that his mount travelled well however was under pressure from the 600 metres, He added that 3 Everything Good was first up from a spell and would benefit from the run. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
7 Great Idea (W L Ho) - Rider W L Ho reported that his saddle shifted near the 300 metres.
8 Sure Win (J Cordero) –Approaching the 300 metres became unbalanced after being brushed by 9 Golden Bullet.
9 Golden Bullet (K W Leong) – Near the 300 metres became extremely unbalanced after making contact with 8 Sure Win. Rider reported that after passing the 300 metres his mount made an unusual respiratory noise.
10 Modena Favorite (M Cangas) –Raced extremely wide without cover throughout the event.
11 My Cup Of Tea (L Salles) -Rider momentarily lost the use of his left iron shortly after the start.
12 China Cheers (C F Wong) –Dwelt when the gates were released.
