RACE-6 THE LUOYANG RATING 85-55 (CLASS 2) 1600 METRES (175)

5 Harbour Star (W L Ho) –Raced very keenly in the middle stages.
6 Happy Fish (C F Wong) – On jumping away became unbalanced after making contact with 10 More Than Happy.
8 My Dream (J Cordero) –On jumping away was hampered when tightened for room between 10 More Than Happy and 1 Red Dragon which shifted in and as a result lost ground.
10 More Than Happy (W T Pao) –On jumping away was hampered and tightened for room between 6 Happy Fish and 8 My Dream which was taken in 1 Red Dragon.
11 Vigorous Momentum (H Lam) –Reared as the start was effected, dislodging its rider and followed the field riderless.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
Prior to “Correct Weight” being declared, the Stewards viewed the patrol video of the start. It was established that as the gates were released 11 Vigorous Momentum reared, then threw its head down resulting in its rider being dislodged in the barriers. As the Stewards were satisfied that 11 Vigorous Momentum had not been denied a fair start, “Correct Weight” was declared. Trainer K S Cheong was informed that 11 Vigorous Momentum will not be permitted to race again before it has performed satisfactorily in an official jump out.
