RACE-6 THE PATNA RATING 45-25 (CLASS 4&5) 1350 METRES (195)

1 Nam Kee's Treasure (K K Lai) - At the 900 metres had to steady when 2 White Debbie shifted out. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
2 White Debbie (O Chavez) -At 1100 metre turn was steadied when 10 Broadus rolled out. Shifted out at the 900 metres when not clear of 1 Nam Kee's Treasure which had to steady. Jockey O Chavez was issued a reprimand. Was bumped by 11 Best Double in the straight.
3 Garlic And Chili (K H Yu) -Jumped awkwardly veering towards the right side of its barrier and was slow into stride.
4 Spicy King (J Pescuiso) -Jumped awkwardly, threw its head up, shifted out abruptly and bumped 12 Gem Fighter. On the home turn had to take evasive action to avoid the fallen rider. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K M Chin was informed that he would be required to present 4 Spicy King which was beaten in excess of 22 lengths to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 21 April 2018 and it will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in an official Barrier Trial.
5 Tyson (W L Ho) - Jockey W L Ho was reprimanded for dropping his whip near the 50 metres. In arriving at this decision, the Stewards took into account Jockey Ho’s good record.
6 Epinart (L Corrales) - On the home turn had to take evasive action to avoid the fallen rider.
10 Broadus (B Yamzon) -At the 1100 metre turn rolled and crowded 2 White Debbie which had to steady. In the final 30 metres was crowded for room between 5 Tyson and 7 Ideal Power Horse.
11 Best Double (M Wepner) -On entering the home straight blundered severely, shifted in and bumped 2 White Debbie dislodging Jockey M Wepner.
12 Gem Fighter (Apprentice K Leung) - At the start was bumped by 4 Spicy King.
