Race Report

RACE-3 THE BOSTON RATING 95-70 (CLASS 1&2) 1350 METRES (202)

1 Duke Da Vega (W L Ho) -Raced wide rounding the home turn.
2 Gem Eagle (H Lam) -Raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Oriental Profit (K Leung) - Over the final 150 metres was inclined to hang in under pressure. Rider reported that his mount was unable to muster speed in the early and middle stages and settled further back than anticipated and in his opinion will be better suited to races of a longer distance.
4 Striking Achiever (F Henrique) -Raced wide without cover throughout. Near the 300 metres was brushed by 1 Duke Da Vega which had a tendency to lay in under pressure. Near the 200 metres was eased away from the heels of 3 Oriental Profit which was inclined to hang in slightly under pressure. Jockey K Leung the rider of 3 Oriental Profit was informed to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
7 Denzil's Choice (J Pescuiso) -Jumped awkwardly and was then crowded for room between 6 Military Star and 1 Duke Da Vega, both of which shifted ground slightly.
