RACE-3 THE BRASILIA RATING 70-40 (CLASS 2&3) 1800 METRES (229)

1 Grand Double Win (L Corrales) -Near the 500 metres had to be eased momentarily away from the heels of 7 Contented N Happy which shifted out around the heels of the tiring 5 We Want Cash which was compounding ground quickly. Jockey O Chavez the rider 7 Contented N Happy was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in future.
2 River Treasure (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Was inclined to hang out in the early stages.
4 Hyshem (W Smith) -Was tightened for room shortly after the start between 2 River Treasure and 7 Contented N Happy, both of which shifted ground.
5 We Want Cash (S Nakano) -Prior to the race Trainer P Leyshan advised Stewards that from the wide draw, he would be instructing Jockey S Nakano to try and obtain a position on the speed. Jockey S Nakano informed the Stewards that he was unable to offer any tangible explanation for his mount’s performance tonight, other than that 5 We Want Cash was a beaten at the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
