Race Report

RACE-4 THE JINGDEZHEN RATING 70-50 (CLASS 2&3) 1200 METRES (113)

1 Luen On Poseidon (S Ladjadj) -Was resaddled behind the barriers. Jumped away awkwardly and then had to be steadied between 6 Association Seven which shifted in and 3 You Are The Best which was taken out by 8 Oneofthegreats which in turn shifted out after being bumped by 7 Destiny's Choice. After considering all of the circumstances the Stewards took no further action. Was held up rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight. Leaving the 75 metres, was disappointed for a run between 3 You Are The Best which shifted in slightly and 8 Oneofthegreats which shifted out slightly. As a result was unable to be fully tested over the final 50 metres.
2 Trillion King (W L Ho) -Approaching the 800 metres raced fiercely on the heels of 3 You Are The Best and had to be steadied.
5 James Street (D Barros) -Jumped away awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Raced wide without cover throughout. Rider reported that after his mount began awkwardly he was looking to go back to take up a position closer to the running rail, however he was positioned to the outside of 11 Golden Fans which was maintaining a position wider on the track. He added his mount, which was having its first start began to travel keenly so he elected to allow 5 James Street to stride forward and travel where it was comfortable rather than attempting to over restrain his mount. He further added due to the pace of the race and runners to his inside, he was obliged to race wide without cover throughout. The Stewards noted his explanation.
6 Association Seven (O Chavez) -Shortly after the start was bumped by 3 You Are The Best which was taken out by 8 Oneofthegreats.
7 Destiny's Choice (T Appie) -Approaching the 1000 metres momentarily raced restricted room to the inside of 8 Oneofthegreats which had a tendency to lay in and away from 3 You Are The Best.
8 Oneofthegreats (S Nakano) -Bumped by 7 Destiny's Choice on jumping away.
9 Diamond Glory (C F Chan) -Leaving the 800 metres raced fiercely on the heels of 6 Association Seven and had to be checked. Was held up rounding the home turn. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.

11 Golden Fans (F Henrique) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
