RACE-3 THE NEWMARKET RATING 85-60 (CLASS 2) 1500 METRES (290)

3 Sacred Magnate (L Corrales) - Was unable to obtain clear running for the entire length of the straight, as a result went to the line untested
4 Cheers Brothers (C L Cheung) - Threw its head up on jumping away and lost ground (1L). A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Rider C L Cheung was reminded of his obligations that he must not raise his arm above shoulder height when using the whip.
5 Cumberbatch (I Poullis) - After passing the 300 metres, obtained a narrow run between 2 Electroplate Alloy and 6 Famous Talent. Then shifted out slightly and as a result brushed the hind quarters of 6 Famous Talent, turning that gelding inwards. Shortly after, had to be steadied when tightened for room between 2 Electroplate Alloy and 6 Famous Talent. Stewards deemed this as a racing incident.
8 Association Eight (A Calder) - Bounded on jumping and lost ground.
9 Yuanno (M Tanaka) - Bounding on jumping and lost ground (1L)
11 Mystery Dancer (A Allen) - Had some difficulty obtaining clear run from entering the straight until approaching the 100 metres.
