RACE-2 THE RIO DE JANEIRO RATING 45-25 (CLASS 4&5) 1510 METRES (172)

3 Honest Boy (L Corrales) –Jumped awkwardly.
4 Rosary Diamond (H Lam) – Rider reported that his mount jumped well and travelled comfortably in the early and middle stages. He added from the 600 metres 4 Rosary Diamond was immediately under pressure and despite his urgings the gelding never responded and was disappointing in the run to the finish. A swab sample was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainers C F Chan/K Seo were informed to present the gelding to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Saturday, 4th March 2017.
5 Valiant Fella (W L Ho) – Raced wide without cover throughout.
6 Instantly Party (B Yamzon) –Jumped awkwardly.
9 Fortune Smiles (R Maia) –Near the 700 metres became unbalanced for a short distance. Near the 250 metres was eased momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of 3 Honest Boy which shifted out slightly.
