Race Report

RACE-2 THE KIANGSU RATING 45-25 (CLASS 4&5) 1200 METRES (50)

1 Exceedingly Dragon (K H Yu) –Cast its near fore plate in the run.
2 Beauty Of Victory (W L Ho) –Tightened for room approaching the 1000 metres. Had a tendency to lay out in the straight under pressure.
4 Iron Alloy (H Lam) –Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by 8 Leader All The Way.
5 Ratnaraj (J Cordero) –On jumping away shifted out and made contact with 2 Beauty Of Victory
6 Turpintine (A Calder) – Rider reported that he felt there was something amiss with his mount and for this reason he eased it down in the straight. A post race veterinary of the gelding failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer G Allendorf was informed that he will be required to present the gelding to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 1st November 2015.
7 Gold And Silver (R Curatolo) –Had a tendency to lay in the straight proving difficult for its rider to ride his mount out in his normal manner.
8 Leader All The Way (L Corrales) –On jumping away was tightened for room between 4 Iron Alloy and 1 Exceedingly Dragon and became unbalanced for a short distance.
9 Lucky And Healthy (C Perkins) –Near the 700 metres had to be steadied when over racing and close to the heels of 10 Explosive Blast.
11 My Dream Come True (M Cangas) –Approaching the winning post was steadied when close to the heels of 10 Explosive Blast.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
Approaching the 1000 metres 2 Beauty Of Victory (W L Ho) was hampered and 12 Sharp Spear (W T Pao) had to be steadied and lost ground when tightened for room between 5 Ratnaraj (J Cordero) and 10 Explosive Blast (Apprentice Y M Choi) which shifted in when having its hindquarters turned.
