RACE-5 THE WHEEL RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (259)

3 Sweet Korean (R Curatolo) –Reared as the gates were released, shifted out and made contact with 2 Peace Get Lucky, then became very unbalanced and shifted back in and made contact with 11 Great China.
4 Cool Brother ( K W Leong ) – As Jockey J Cordero had been taken to hospital following his fall, The Stewards gave permission for Jockey K W Leong to be substituted.
5 Impeccable Genius (H Lam) –Was examined behind the barriers and withdrawn on veterinary ground at 3:16pm as it had sustained a laceration to its right stifle. Trainer K S Ho was informed that a veterinary clearance must be produced prior to racing again.
7 Clown Master (W T Pao) –Rider W T Pao was dislodged on pulling up and transported to hospital for observation and treatment.
8 River God Choi (L Salles) –Resaddled behind the barriers. Rider was unable to offer any real explanation for the disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 My Favourites (C F Chan) –Near the 700 metres had to be steadied when tightened for room between 7 Clown Master and 8 River God Choi which was turned in after having its hindquarters brushed and before being straightened by its rider.
11 Great China (C Perkins) –Shortly after the start was brushed by 3 Sweet Korean.
