2 Desi Prince (L Corrales) - Performed below market expectations. When questioned regarding the performance of the horse, rider stated he was able to jump well and race behind 1 which was the joint leader of the race. He added his mount travelled well all the way to the straight, but when placed under pressure around 250, it did not quicken and commenced to give ground steadily. He further stated the leadup work of the horse was satisfactory and he felt the horse will benefit from today’s run as it has not run for 2 months.
5 Shirvo (C Perkins) - Tardy start, and raced wide without cover throughout.
9 Bravo Cyclone (K H Yu) - Passing the winning post on the first occasion, had to be steadied when tightened for room by 6 Fasuba (I Poullis). I Poullis was severely reprimanded for being barely clear when shifting ground.
10 Breezy Artax (S H Huang) - Slow to begin.
