RACE-1 THE SINKIANG RATING MAIDEN 1500 METRES (127)

1 Best Jade Wan Zai (Apprentice C L Cheung) -At the start was bumped by 8 Fort Idaho which after jumping awkwardly shifted out. Near the 900 metres raced fiercely for a short distance and had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 2 Rainbow Achievers. When entering the home straight was momentarily disappointed for a run to the inside of 2 Rainbow Achievers.
2 Rainbow Achievers (O Chavez) -Jumped awkwardly. Near the 1300 metres was momentarily inconvenienced by 7 Chins Delight which was taken out by 1 Best Jade Wan Zai which raced greenly and shifted out. The Stewards having noted the racing manners of 1 Best Jade Wan Zai at the point of the incident still advised Apprentice C L Cheung the rider of 1 Best Jade Wan Zai to exercise more care and to make a greater effort to prevent his mounts from shifting in similar circumstances in future. Near the 100 metres was eased when momentarily placed in restricted room between 8 Fort Idaho which improved quickly to its inside and 7 Chins Delight which was taken in by 6 Golden Victory which when attempting a run between 7 Chins Delight and 5 House Of Power raced greenly and was inclined to lay in before being corrected by its rider. After considering all of the circumstances, the Stewards took no further action. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Qipao Queen (L Corrales) -Raced wide without cover until near the 700 metres.
4 River Bubble (Y M Choi) -Became very fractious in the barriers dislodging its rider. Was subsequently withdrawn on veterinary grounds at 2:03pm. Trainer S H Cheong was informed that 4 River Bubble will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed in an official Barrier Trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
5 House Of Power (R Maia) -Leaving the 700 metres raced fiercely on the heels of 3 Qipao Queen and had to be steadied. Thereafter raced wide without cover until near the 500 metres where it improved to a position outside of the leader 2 Rainbow Achievers.
6 Golden Victory (W L Ho) -Was slow to begin. Raced greenly in the home straight.
7 Chins Delight (F Henrique) -Near the 200 metres was eased momentarily when disappointed for a run between 5 House Of Power and 2 Rainbow Achievers which shifted out under pressure. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
8 Fort Idaho (W Smith) -Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped 1 Best Jade Wan Zai. Near the 700 metres was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 6 Golden Victory. Near the 150 metres brushed with 2 Rainbow Achievers.
