Race Report

RACE-2 THE RIBOT (DIV 2) RATING 60-35 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (285)

1 Dutch Shell (W H Lao) -On jumping away was hampered by 2 Captain Brentford which after jumping away awkwardly was inclined to hang out. Raced wide without cover leaving the 500 metres. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
2 Captain Brentford (Y M Choi) -Jumped away awkwardly and was then inclined to hang out hampering 1 Dutch Shell. Near the 700 metres was hampered when taken wider on the track by 7 Mulan Go which when hanging out shifted out. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 Special Charger (L Corrales) -Was inclined to lay out under pressure in the home straight. Trainer K S Wong was informed that a warning had been placed against 3 Special Charger for its racing manners. A post race swab was taken for analysis. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Casino Mok (D Barros) -Was held up from rounding the home turn until near the 250 metres where it brushed with 3 Special Charger when maneuvering outwards to establish clear running.
5 Yings Fans (S Nakano) -Near the 150 metres had a tendency to lay in under pressure and had to be corrected by its rider.
7 Mulan Go (Apprentice C L Cheung) -Jumped away awkwardly and shortly after the start hung out across the heels of 5 Yings Fans and had to be steadied. Near the 700 metres was inclined to hang out. Near the 50 metres was hampered when taken outwards by 3 Special Charger which shifted out when laying out under pressure.
