Race Report

RACE-6 THE GOOD HEALTH RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1500 METRES (156)

3 Modigmaster (C F Chan) –Raced keenly through the early and middle stages and approaching the 1200 metres had to be restrained off the heels of 10 Windsor Arch Five which shifted in when not fully clear.
4 Nothing To Say (B Yamzon) –Raced keenly in the early stages.
7 Yummy Yummy (L Corrales) –Disappointing performance. Rider explained that it was his intention to lead, however he was unable to muster sufficient speed to do so and compounded in the straight. He added that in his opinion it would better suited to a softer track. A post race swab was taken for analysis and a veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
8 More Than Happy (W T Pao) –Making the turn near the 1200 metres was steadied when placed in restricted room and then over raced for some distance. Had to be restrained off heels when the pace steadied at the 600 metres.
9 Gauteng (K W Leong) –Jumped away awkwardly.
10 Windsor Arch Five (W L Ho) – When the pace steaded at the 600 metres had to be restrained from the heels of 7 Yummy Yummy. From approaching the 400 metres to until the 200 metres was held up when unable to obtain a clear run.
12 My Favourites (C F Wong) –Race three wide without cover throughout.
