1 Royal Garden (B Yamzon) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
2 Victory Moment (D Barros) -Checked near the 1350 metres. For some distance leaving the 1250 metres raced fiercely on the heels of 7 Electroplate Alloy. Leaving the 100 metres shifted out under pressure and was then eased away from the heels of 4 Nuclear Fusion which at the same time shifted in.
3 Beauty Bolt (C L Cheung) -Was slow to begin. Raced wide without cover from the 600 metres.
4 Nuclear Fusion (W L Ho) -Was marginally slow to begin. Was inclined to lay in under pressure in the home straight.
8 Winnie Star (L Corrales) -Was marginally slow to begin.
9 Go Fish Go (Y M Choi) -Shortly after the start shifted out and was eased away from the heels of 7 Electroplate Alloy. Hung out rounding the first turn and then raced wide without cover for the majority of the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
The Stewards inquired into an incident near the 1350 metres where 2 Victory Moment was checked. Evidence was taken from the riders of 2 Victory Moment (D Barros) and 7 Electroplate Alloy (K H Yu). Jockey K H Yu the rider of 7 Electroplate Alloy pleaded guilty to charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) in that near the 1350 metres, he permitted 7 Electroplate Alloy to shift in when insufficiently clear of 2 Victory Moment which had to be checked and lost its rightful running. Jockey K H Yu’s license to ride in races was suspended for 1 racemeeting covering the meeting of Sunday 18 April 2021. In arriving at penalty, the Stewards took into account Jockey K H Yu’s guilty plea, his disciplinary record and the degree of interference. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
