2 City Hunter (D Barros) -Near the 750 metres blundered in the going.
3 Half Lamma Boss (T Appie) -Was marginally slow to begin.
4 You And You Alone (K H Yu) -For some distance after the start hung out despite the efforts of its rider. Trainer S H Cheung was informed that warning had been placed on 4 You And You Alone in relation to its racing manners. Trainer S H Cheong was informed that he would be required to present 4 You And You Alone to the Veterinary Hospital for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 28 February 2021. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 Heartgoodallwell (C F Chan) -Near the 250 metres shifted out and was then bumped by 2 City Hunter which at the same time shifted in under pressure. Thereafter shifted in and had to be steadied away from the heels of 9 Northern Legend which at the same time shifted out. As Stewards deemed these to be racing incidents, no action was taken. Was inclined to lay out under pressure over the final 200 metres.
6 Trillion King (C L Cheung) -Near the 750 metres had to be eased away from the heels of 4 You And You Alone which shifted in when not fully clear. After considering all of the circumstances, the Stewards issued Jockey K H Yu the rider of You And You Alone with a severe reprimand and he was advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to be sufficiently clear when shifting ground.
7 Fair Dream (Y M Choi) -Raced wide without cover throughout. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Northern Legend (S Ladjadj) -Was marginally slow to begin. Near the 400 metres had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of 5 Heartgoodallwell.
10 Luen On Treasure (F Henrique) -Shortly after the start was hampered by 4 You And You Alone which hung out.
11 Wu Tong Road (M Tanaka) -Stood flat footed as the start was effected and lost considerable ground. Trainer K M Chin was informed that in view of the barrier manners of 11 Wu Tong Road, the gelding will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until such time that it performs to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official Barrier Trial.
