RACE-4 THE CAMELLIA RATING 70+ (CLASS 1&2) 1350 METRES (52)

1 Obrigado Mais (W Smith) -On jumping away shifted in and bumped 10 Best Of Luck. Jockey W Smith informed the Stewards that he could offer no tangible explanation for the performance of 1 Obrigado Mais tonight other than that the gelding became under pressure leaving the 1000 metres and was never comfortable when placed under pressure. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
3 The Whirlwind (R Maia) -Jumped awkwardly.
5 Pearl Green (W L Ho) -Rider reported the gelding travelled well in the run, however in the home straight when under full pressure did not respond to his riding and was one paced. He added that in his opinion, the gelding is better suited on the turf track against tonight’s class of horse. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
6 Victory Megastar (L Corrales) -Raced wide without cover throughout.
8 Californiatreasure (C F Chan) -Knuckled on jumping away. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Advance Mission (K H Yu) -Was slow to begin.
10 Best Of Luck (K Leung) -Bumped by 1 Obrigado Mais on jumping away and as a result Jockey K Leung lost the use of his left side iron for a short distance.
