Race Report

RACE-2 L' ARC MACAU CHARITY TROPHY RATING 55-30 (CLASS 4) 1200 METRES (195)

3 Modena Favorite (O Doleuze) –After passing the 800 metres had to be restrained to avoid the heels of 7 Golden Bullet which shifted in when not quite clear. Jockey A Calder the rider of 7 Golden Bullet was reminded and notified that he must be fully clear of runners when shifting ground at all times
4 It's A Round World (W T Pao) –Was slow to begin.
5 Lucky Today (C Perkins) –Jumped away awkwardly. Dipped on a number of occasions in the early stages.
6 Sure Win (W L Ho) –Shortly after the start was inconvenienced by 7 Golden Bullet which shifted out.
9 Bowl Lucky (M Cangas) –Was marginally slow to begin. Near the 1000 metres had to be steadied when disappointed for a run between 3 Modena Favorite and 11 Happy Proposal which shifted out slightly. From after passing the 600 metres until near the 300 metres was held up when unable to improve its position.
10 Only Pearl (C F Chan) –Threw its head in the air when the gates were released and then dipped. Was caught wide without cover for the majority of the event.
11 Happy Proposal (C F Wong) –Raced keenly through the middle stages and near the 700 metres had to be steadied when inconvenienced by 3 Modena Favorite.
12 Glory Moment (J Cordero) –Disappointing performance. Rider reported that it was his mount’s first start on the turf and it did not handle today’s track conditions. He added that the gelding made a respiratory noise during the event, however a post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
