2 My Masterpiece (L Salles) –Proved very difficult to load. Trainer K S Ho was informed that the gelding must perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a jump out prior to racing again. Poor performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Rider reported that his mount did not handle today’s track condition and was beaten horse from the 600 metre mark.
6 My Pony (K K Lai) –At the 700 metres had to be steadied to avoid the heels of 11 Wonder Holy.
8 My Dream (J Cordero) –Jumped away awkwardly, then dipped and as a result lost some ground.
9 Perfect Alloy (H Lam) –Raced very keenly in the middle stages.
10 Windsor Arch Three (C Perkins) –Approaching the 600 metres had to be steadied to avoid the heels of 1 Lucky Winston which shifted out slightly.

11 Wonder Holy (C F Wong) – Raced wide before obtaining a position closer to the rails near the 700 metres. Performed below market expectations. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.The rider reported that the gelding did not handle today’s track conditions and did not respond to his riding in the straight.
